Interval Training

Start the day off the right way by getting a combo of cardio and muscle conditioning all in one workout.

This class will combine strength training with challenging cardio intervals. Prepare to tone our entire body and core as well as improve your cardiovascular endurance.

 Muscle Works

This class will increase your strength, muscle endurance and joint flexibility. Progressive flexibility allows full range of motion and better daily and athletic performance.

Body Toning

 This class is designed to tone and sculpt your waistline while strengthening your abdominals, and gluteal muscles for better posture and strength.

Step and Sculpt

 This multi-level class is appropriate for every fitness level. Combining step with muscle conditioning.

Body Power

 This is a muscle conditioning class, which utilizes a barbell and free weight system.

Power Hour

This class is for all exercise levels and combines step combinations with intervals of muscle toning.

Cardio Kick Boxing

 A power packed total body workout for all fitness levels.  Easy to follow combinations of upper body strikes, blocks and athletic drills make up this killer cardio workout!

   Zumba

 Dance your way to a fitter you!  This new class combines exciting and unique Latin moves and rhythms that will keep your heart pumping and your hips shaking.

Senior Stretch and Tone - NEW!!!

Stay fit and flexible! This class will help keep you active with light toning activities and yoga inspired stretches.

This class takes the fun factor up a notch with super hot moves that will have everyone wanting more!

Fitness Fusion - NEW!!!

This class will give you a "full body" workout and challenge your body at the same time with a variety of Cycling, Pilates and strength training. Come challenge yourself! (30 minute cycling / 30 minutes Pilates / 30 minutes strength)

Pilates

This class will focus on the fundamentals of Pilates in order to improve posture, increase muscle tone and decrease risk of injuries.

Yoga

This class will help you focus on breathing and quieting your mind to enhance full body awareness, through a variety of postures.

 Early Bird Cycle / Weekend Rides

  Bring a towel and water bottle. Bike shorts, seatpad and heart rate monitor are recommended. Please arrive 10 minutes early for setup.

Y Power Cycling

Come and enjoy this high intensity cycling class, with simulated terrain changes set to motivating music. After out ride, we will spend a half hour on strength training for our upper body. Don't forget a water bottle and towel - you're gonna need them!!!

Turbo Kick

The hottest kickboxing class around! Turbo Kick combines athletic moves, sports drills, hip hop flavor and so much more. Get ready to take your kickboxing class to the next level!


Adult Aquatics Classes

Active Adult Aqua-Combo (8 week session)

This class is dedicated to the individual that wants a high powered workout achieving better health through water exercise.  This class will help you improve your cardiovascular system while enjoying the benefits of weight reduction and body definition.  Swimmers and non-swimmers welcome. This very popular program absolutely requires registrations and classes fill quickly.

Tuesday or Thursday Mornings - 7:30-8:15 am
Thursday Evenings - 6:30-7:15 pm

Water Aerobics (8 week session)

This medium to low impact water exercise is for anyone that want to improve their cardio and enhance their body tone.

Monday, Wednesday, or Friday   9-10am

Friday is a Seniors only class and is free to all in the community. Registration is mandatory for this class and space is limited. 

Master Swim Program

For the experienced adult swimmer that is looking for a challenge. This 1 1/2 hour program will offer swim workouts and technique training for those adults who are interested in training for triathlons or just more structured workouts that are implemented in a competitive swimming format. Taught by experienced coaches, this program will enhance endurance; improve technique and your ability.

Thursday - 7 - 8:30 pm
$140 Members/ $210 Non-Members


Central Lake Fitness

Sign up at the Welcome Center in person or by phone to schedule a free equipment orientation. Perfect for those brand new to fitness centers and those with an established fitness routine, but are unfamiliar with the YMCA’s equipment. It is strongly recommended that all members, regardless of their physical abilities and knowledge of weight and cardiovascular equipment, make their complimentary orientation appointment prior to using the Fitness Center. Appointments are required and available to YMCA members only. Orientations last approximately 30 minutes.

Children ages 13-15 are required to complete the complimentary orientation prior to using the Fitness Center.

You must be age 16 or older to use the free weight equipment!
